Job Description Job Description We are in search of a Class B Delivery Driver to join our growing team. Starting Pay Rate - $25.65 per hour Responsibilities Include: Operate and safely drive assigned delivery vehicle Pick-up loads and organize goods in an ordered Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinations Maintain the predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries Communicate with dispatch as needed Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs Comply with ICC and DOT regulations The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Will possess a Valid Class B driver's license required High school or GED equivalent required Experience with Local Deliveries/Inside deliveries Experience driving Straight truck (bobtail 24ft to 26ft) Manual transmission preferred Able to use lift gate, operate pallet jacks. Use hand truck & dollies. 2 years of delivery driver experience Driving record must meet company safety standards Ability to pass pre-placement drug testing Must be able to maintain a DOT Medical Card, required for the role. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time Able to operate an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc. Proficient using GPS and other routing systems High level of composure and good stress management Compensation & Benefits : This is a union position with a starting pay rate of $25.65/hour in accordance with the CBA.
