Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Lancaster, CA Agency: GQR Healthcare Pay: $2,477 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Labor & Delivery • Registered Nurse • Nights We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts in the Labor and Delivery unit. Join a supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients. • Interpret and document fetal monitor tracings. • Care for low to high•risk obstetrical patients and newborns. • Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care. • Conduct labor stage screenings in the OB Observation Area. • Handle patient admissions and discharges. • Educate patients and families on labor and delivery. Qualifications: • 1 year travel RN and 2 years Labor & Delivery experience. • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications, and CA RN license. • Willingness to float to OR and work weekends/holidays. • Nursing degree from an accredited school; BSN or MSN preferred. • 20 hours of Breastfeeding and Lactation training within 6 months of hire. • RNC•OB and RNC•EFM certifications encouraged. • STABLE and ACLS certifications encouraged. Physical Requirements: • Ability to work under stressful conditions. • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. • Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs; assist in patient transfers.
