Members.Materials Engineer IThe Engineer I applies standard
engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair,
or improve products, components, or assemblies. Analyzes, develops
and evaluates systems. Improves and maintains current systems or
creates brand new projects. Designs and drafts blueprints, visits
systems in the field and manages projects. Applies engineering
techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of packaging
specifications, related test methods and SOPs.
- Conduct validations of new products and production lines to
ensure capability and conformance to specifications.
- Perform qualification trials for new raw materials and
vendors.
- Provide training to factory personnel on packaging tests and
standards to drive a focus on packaging quality.
- Audit production lines and identify opportunities to improve
safety, quality and line efficiencies.
- Conduct packaging audits to monitor finished product quality at
the consumer level.
- Create detailed reports and presentations to present to company
management.
- Travel to perform on-site tests in satellite plants (25%)
